Dhyana (meditation) is the ancient Vedic practice of resting the mind in pure awareness. When practiced daily, meditation calms the autonomic nervous system, quiets mental chatter, dissolves stress, and awakens effortless clarity, intuitive wisdom, and continuous divine serenity.

Frequently Asked Questions

For beginners, 5 to 10 minutes of daily consistent practice is ideal. It is far more effective to meditate for 7 minutes every single day than 1 hour once a week.

You can sit on a meditation mat (Sukhasana / Padmasana) with your spine erect but relaxed, or sit comfortably on a chair with your feet flat on the ground. The key is maintaining a straight spine and effortless breathing.

Do not fight your thoughts. Acknowledge them gently as passing clouds, and gently redirect your focus back to the sensation of your natural breath or your chosen mantra.

Mantra Jaap uses repetitive sacred sound vibrations to focus the wandering mind, whereas Dhyana is pure receptive awareness and silent stillness. Often, starting with 5 minutes of Mantra Jaap leads effortlessly into deep meditation.

Brahma Muhurat (dawn) and Sandhya Kaal (sunset) are the most naturally quiet and energetically receptive times. However, a quick 5-minute mid-day reset also provides immediate mental relief.
